Happy Birthday, Alex!

Sort of a late Happy Birthday to Alex (the little one) who's finally turned 18. Have fun drinking legally (doesn't sound that appealing, does it?). Anyway, enjoy yourself and don't forget how to be a kid 'cause being an adult sure can be a pain in the... neck.

HAPPY B-DAY ANA! from teacher with love

This is a video for Ana, hope she enjoys:)
But while you are on this blog please listen to it and see if you can get all the lyrics. Good luck!

Dear 11 E,

This is your English teacher, aka Posto, posting [ not an intended pun] on a blog for the first time ever:) As I heard someone saying just yesterday: " it takes a great many years to become young". I guess it is true:)
So if I can do it, you can do it too.

Stefan opened this blog at my suggestion (well,request...) because I plan to experiment teaching with the internet. I will not lie and pretend I know exactly what I am doing at this point:) I am just willing to try and experiment what thousands of teachers all over the world have been doing for many years. However, I need your help to put this blog together: I need your technical help and I also need you to cooperate on the learning tasks. Guess what? This means more time out of your free time :( spent on English homework. I can already hear you cheering:) But being the very special kids that you ARE, I know I can count on y'all.
This is a class blog, but it is a learning blog, not just a class diary. It will have a link on the site of the CNPR English Department. It will be accessible to the whole wide world, and it will make you famous.
There's only three rules I would like you to keep in mind:
Rule no.1: all posts and comments will be in English ( semi-formal)
Rule no.2: Please check regularly for updates and post assignments in due time.
Rule no.3: Don't forget to have fun while you are engaging in this new type of learning.

I don't know about you,but I am absolutely thrilled to be learning something new and even more, to be learning together with my favourite students ever:)

I will post your first assignment at the beginning of next week.Meanwhile please make your accounts and get familiar with the environment. Posts and comments are welcome even before we begin our assignments.

And since today is Ana's birthday: Happy B-day Ana!

Shade Day

I'll be among the first to post on our fresh out of the oven blog. I'll start with a rather old idea that a brave hero once had: shade day. Let us unite in awesomeness for at least one day and wear sunglasses. This is, of course, far from an urgent matter (being winter and all) but starting with the middle of March I think we can find a day when we can all do this. Awaiting approval and suggestions.

Up and running

The Blog is open. Class members are invited to create an account, join and start posting. Any ideas are to be discussed with me(blog admin:>:>)
